Teen charged with murdering 18yo girl north of Brisbane

A 19-year-old man has been charged with the homicide of an 18-year-old girl, whose physique was discovered within the Sunshine Coast bushland early this morning.

It’s thought the girl, who’s from Petrie and identified to the person, met him in a parking zone off Bells Pocket Highway in Strathpine round 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Her household was anxious after she didn’t return house.

Police discovered the person at a service station in Nambour round 8pm and the girl’s physique was found round 3am this morning, in a close-by bush.

The person, from Kallangur, will seem in courtroom tomorrow charged with homicide and misconduct, or transferring, a corpse.

Detectives wish to communicate to anybody who has seen a white Ford Mustang or a blue Mazda Three close to the Rob Akers Sports activities Reserve at Bells Pocket Highway in Strathpine between 4pm and 6pm yesterday.
