Kyam Keith Broadby faces trial for alleged homicide of carnival co-worker


A courtroom has tried a Tasmanian man accused of beating to loss of life a competition employee at a present in Far North Queensland, shaving his head and leaving the scene that night time.

Kyam Keith Broadby, 25, is on trial for homicide in reference to the loss of life of Nathaniel Wailu, who was discovered unconscious on the Mareeba Present, west of Cairns, in July 2019.

‘Get your fingers off my girl’

Mr. Crane testified in courtroom that Mr. Wailu was closely drunk and intoxicated when he headbutted a feminine program employee after which “swamped the hammer round”, threatening the defendant’s girlfriend, program officer Dekoda Bell- Pickett.

He stated Mr Wailu had “run into the darkish” and was chased by Mr Broadby and one other man.

He stated witnesses heard a person “with an Australian accent shouting ‘Get your fingers off my girl. “

Mr Crane stated Mr Broadby let a pal shave his head and left the scene in a single day.

Mr Broadby’s lawyer, Martin Longhurst, informed the courtroom his shopper was not the one one current that night time and stated there have been no witnesses to the alleged assault.
