Police cost teenager over major college fireplace close to Hobart

A 14-year-old man has been charged with deliberately setting fireplace to a number of school rooms at an elementary college in Hobart.

The fireplace at Bowen Street Elementary Faculty began round 4 p.m. Saturday.

A joint investigation by the Tasmanian Fireplace Service and police decided that it was deliberately lit.

The 14-year-old shall be tried underneath the Youth Justice Act.

Police stated some not too long ago renovated school rooms should be demolished.
