Firefighters battle massive hearth in Polk County close to Bolivar, Mo.

POLK COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – Polk County firefighters responded to a big grass hearth close to Bolivar on Sunday.

Officers say the hearth began a bit of earlier than 12:30 p.m. Sunday close to Aldrich Highway. A farmer was working in a corn subject when the hearth began. The fireplace rapidly unfold to a different subject however was extinguished from there.

The fireplace has been extinguished. Nobody was injured and no buildings or properties have been affected.
