Bindoon crash: Truck driver killed in main crash after colliding with a tree

An aged lorry driver has died in a horrific crash north of Perth.

Police confirmed the tragic information Tuesday morning, saying the 75-year-old man died on the scene and couldn’t be saved.

The car veered off the highway and crashed right into a tree on the Nice Northern Freeway in Bindoon round 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police, paramedics and firefighters rushed to the crash web site close to Owen Road and remained on the scene, working to clear the scene.

Regardless of many efforts from the medical groups, the person couldn’t be saved and tragically died on the scene.
