Police hunt for man after teen lady sexually assaulted in ‘vulgar’ bus assault

Police is looking for the offender after a 15-year-old lady was sexual assault in a “vulgar” assault on a bus in Melbourne’s south-west final month.

In accordance with police, the lady was boarding a bus at Hoppers Crossing practice station round 7:15 p.m. Sunday, September 11, when a person sat subsequent to her and sexually assaulted her.

Senior Detective Constable Megan Fisher stated the sufferer pushed the offender away from her and tried to flee, working to her mother and father’ residence and calling police.

“It took a whole lot of braveness for her to have the ability to pressure somebody out of her and she or he was courageous sufficient to push that particular person away from her,” Fisher stated.

“Nobody takes public transport and expects to be assaulted. It is vulgar.”

Police have launched two pictures of a person they imagine will assist with the investigation.

“The person is believed to be of Center Jap look, aged between 18 and 25 years previous with quick darkish hair, a mustache and skinny pores and skin,” Victoria Police stated in a press release.

“He was carrying a masks and a darkish zip-up jacket with a white t-shirt, mild grey denims, a darkish jogger and carrying a black backpack and a grocery store plastic bag.”
