Helicopters to be on standby to conduct night time search and rescues in NSW

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that from tonight, three helicopters shall be on standby to conduct night time search and rescue work in New South Wales.

Mr Albanese additionally introduced that an extra 150 Australian Protection Drive personnel could be readily available to assist flood victims.

“100 of them are in north New South Wales and 50 are on standby in Hunter,” Mr Albanese stated.

The Prime Minister stated the federal authorities would proceed to work with the states and territories and stand prepared to help Australians who have been struggling “the toughest harm” throughout the floods.

Mr Albanese stated: “From subsequent week, extra assist shall be out there to Tasmanian small companies and producers.
