Firefighters battle massive fireplace in Polk County close to Bolivar, Mo.

POLK COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – Polk County firefighters responded to a big grass fireplace close to Bolivar on Sunday.

Officers say the hearth began somewhat earlier than 12:30 p.m. Sunday close to Aldrich Highway. A farmer was working in a corn discipline when the hearth began. The hearth rapidly unfold to a different discipline however was extinguished from there.

The hearth has been extinguished. Nobody was injured and no buildings or properties had been affected.
