“Investigators say she repeatedly claimed that Velasquez assaulted her, prompting Smith to pressure 5 associates from his hometown of Moree — Fernando, Porter, McGrady, Weatherall and Beale — to beat Velasquez indoors to his automotive the day earlier than New 12 months’s Eve 2019.
